Hahalles

Laugh about it rather than cry.

The third edition of the HaHalles festival, still programmed by your favorite Iranian-Brussels queer stand-up comedian Dena, continues to focus on comedians who put social issues at the heart of their shows.

On the surface, it's one of the simplest art forms: stand-up comedy is one person, one stage, one microphone. But behind this pared-down format lies a huge amount of work writing about personal experiences and confronting the world with joy, (self-)mockery, and rage. (Sometimes it's also just a stroke of luck and a good joke.)

From March 5 to 7, come see Emma Bojan, Habibitch, Chloé Drouet, Noam Sinseau, Dena's Late Night, and an excellent gala, as always.

Hahalles is also a stand-up workshop organized by Atout Comedy, for those who want to take the plunge and tell jokes for the first time.

Since the world is truly a sad place, HaHalles invites you to laugh about it with us.
