IT TAKES A CITY

As in its first edition, It Takes a City puts Brussels artists in the spotlight, offering them a context conducive to visibility and international circulation.

The festival is the result of a unique collaboration between four Dutch-speaking organisations – Beursschouwburg, Kaaitheater, Kunstenwerkplaats, workspacebrussels – and four French-speaking organisations – atelier 210, La Balsamine, Charleroi danse / La Raffinerie and Les Halles de Schaerbeek.

By joining forces, these partners are promoting a scene that transcends linguistic, cultural and institutional boundaries, and affirming the power of the collective as a driving force for artistic dissemination and development.
