« La gamme physique de l’acrobate et chorégraphe flamand Alexander Vantournhout est d’une élasticité confondante… »
Télérama

How important is a frame for a painting? What happens if we remove it? Or conversely, what happens if we remove the artwork and just look at the frame? Frames explores this relationship between the frame and the art.

Alexander Vantournhout and his three performers intertwine their bodies, hang and climb on frames, walk upside down and defy gravity, as well as our imaginations. Each movement is a constant search for balance, focused on co-operation and body control.

The audience get to admire the frame from all angles: from the front, from the side and even from below. Frames invites you to explore choreographic installations that defy artistic and visual perspectives, transforming them into works of great poetry.
