Virtuoso clarinettist David Krakauer and his lifelong partner in crime, Kathleen Tagg, take us on a musical journey as personal as it is eclectic. Simple songs morph into fabulous musical objects: in an immersive video setting and reinvented by the two performers and composers as varied as Jon Zorn and Cuban percussionist Roberto Rodriguez, they become colourful jewels, marrying African rhythms and romantic symphonies or minimalism and the klezmer music of which David Krakauer is the master.
