L’âne fou is a popular bistro and restaurant, being an integral part of the heritage of Schaerbeek, the city of donkeys. With a wild charm and a very typical decoration, this place welcomes students as well as professors from the nearby universities and local workers who, at midday, come here to share a nice and friendly moment and enjoy its specialities, the âne fou’s meatballs. The residents of Schaerbeek know what they’re worth! At night, the mood becomes more festive, with, at some occasions, artistic performances such as the “Slam Fou”, Les oirées âne Folle”, “les soirées Diables rouges”, as well as an after-bar for after a show at the Halles de Schaerbeek.
