Larsen C

Larsen C is a malleable yet structured piece. In it, Christos Papadopoulos disrupt our sense: a simple contextual change is enough to change our perceptions. His rigorous and hypnotic writing questions what the act of watching prevents us from seeing. Bent trajectories, staggered, repetitive or irregular movements, slowdown or acceleration, everything contributes to disturbing our perception. When we don’t know what to expect, what we see becomes the director of our inner theatre. Papadopoulos is certainly an amazing choreographer. But – and that’s a more stunning feat – he manages to choreograph our most intimate movements.
