Le Grand Marché

The Grand Marché des Halles is a festive, cross-disciplinary and generous event that transforms Les Halles de Schaerbeek into a veritable crossroads for cultural, artistic and civic exchange. It's a celebration of local creativity and emerging forms of expression, with an abundance of stands, workshops and performances.

It's much more than just an event. It's a time to get together, a place where you can breathe, meet people, dance, hang out in the sun, whatever you want.
Whether you come for a krump battle with Ruthless, FIFA matches on the big screen with MC Alvin, film screenings, a YOGA / BOXING session with Fluxion3000, the world's biggest football match, to discover the Ateliers Indigo, a carefree moment with Brown Cats... or just to chat, there's something for everyone.

PERMANENT STANDS: welcome stand, care space for queer people and BIPOC (Brown Cats)*, basketball, Trans Solidarity Fund Belgium (TSFB), Fondation Marius Jacob, Ateliers Indigo, Réciproque, Promo Jeunes.

* Collective creation of a care space for queer people and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color). Performances, sports activities and oral transmission are on the programme.
