Esac x Élodie Doñaque
3rd year students from the École Supérieure des Arts du Cirque (ESAC) present a collective creation directed by Elodie Doñaque. A vibrant, organic performance, in direct contact with the moment !
Collective creation is one of the pillars of ESAC's pedagogy at ESAC. During these supervised students are confronted with directors, choreographers stage directors, choreographers and circus choreographers or circus artists and work with them to develop original performances while exploring artistic languages.
From writing to production, students take part in the design, construction and staging of the construction and staging of the show, and finally in the performance. This collaborative process highlights individual creativity while strengthening group cohesion.
This project is the fruit of intensive work with with a partner artist, combining circus technique circus technique, staging, lighting and a and a contemporary vision of the circus.
