Two Breton words that resonate as a resistance to violations of the rights of refugees. Patricia Allio makes the stage an agora, somewhere between the intimate and the political. On the ground, Europe is drawn differently: not with its borders, but as a territory criss-crossed by people’s struggles and stories.
Inspired by a session of the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal in 2018, Dispak Dispac'h shines a spotlight on those who suffer, resist and inform. People like the journalist Mortaza Behboudi, held prisoner by the Taliban for months, or Stéphane Ravacley, the baker on hunger strike. Having been performed in Avignon in 2023, this tender show at the crossroads of art and activism opens up a moving space for reflection and action.
