KABYLIFORNIE
Agathe Yamina Meziani
OFFSITE
Atelier 210
Kabylifornie is a solo that explores the porous zones between intimate storytelling, humor and political reflection. Based on personal anecdotes, Agathe Yamina Meziani questions her identity, transmission, belonging, and the intimate mechanisms we put in place to survive what is beyond us.
She recounts her father, her Kabyle culture, the survival strategies we invent as children, and the way we transform violence into narrative. Between videos of family, poetic narration and shifts, she constructs a shifting space, between reality and fiction, where contradictions can cohabit, and where humor becomes a tool of lucidity.
