Festival Indigo
Since 2015, Ateliers Indigo has been welcoming artists with mental disabilities. This unique space promotes artistic expression, offering everyone the opportunity to develop their talent in a supportive environment. The workshops offered focus on the visual arts, performing arts and audiovisual arts, allowing artists to explore different forms of creation and give free rein to their imagination. Thanks to tailored support, everyone can develop their own style and share their work with the public, thereby helping to promote diversity and inclusion in the art world.
True to this vision, Ateliers Indigo has a mission: to open up the world of contemporary art to neurodivergent artists and to oppose ableism and a system that imposes normality.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, it is organising a festival at Les Halles de Schaerbeek on 20 and 21 March 2026. Indigo's uniqueness will shine through at this extraordinary event.
The programme includes an exhibition, performances, talks, concerts and DJ sets.
