anger angels ETERNAL LETDOWN
Cuddles
Sophia Rodriguez & Teresa Vittucci
Venezuelan choreographer Sophia Rodríguez, already familiar to Belgian audiences, and Austrian artist Teresa Vittucci, whose subversive humour has graced European stages, unite their worlds in a first collaboration – and one that’s not to be missed!
Anger Angels was born from their first meeting. This hypnotic and playfully offbeat production celebrates anger as a raw material and catalyst for collective energy. In a surreal office setting, two messenger angels receive and translate human fury. Through movement and voice, they give form to this long-invalidated emotion, especially when it comes from women.
Anger Angels undertakes a remarkable rehabilitation of rage, conceived with humour as a source of emotional relief. At the end of the day, a bit of anger does you good.
Five solidarity tickets at €5 will be set aside for each performance of performing arts projects (with some exceptions). Please email reservation@halles.be
