An artist and performer based between Brussels and Berlin, Sophie Guisset develops a practice centred on pleasure and play. Her creations explore intimate relationships and everyday routines to imagine spaces of freedom beyond heteronormative norms.
With Endless Summer Camp, she draws on her adolescent memories within a Catholic youth movement for girls. This structured framework fosters connections that encourage bonds of queer solidarity. Before us, the performers re-enact the familiar activities of the camp guides: setting up a camp, gathering around collective activities.
Gradually, the logistical routine shifts. Bodies liberate themselves and gender roles blur as erotic tensions intensify. The stage then becomes a playfully subversive space for experimenting with new desires.
Five solidarity tickets at €5 will be set aside for each performance of performing arts projects (with some exceptions). Please email reservation@halles.be
