SOUND BAZART

SOUND BAZART was born this school year 2O24-2025 during an immersive week for the 5th year ‘Expressive Arts’ option class from Collège Fra Arrgelico at Les Halles de Schaerbeek and the collaboration with DJ Rokia Bamba who accompanied them in a sound creation and writing workshop. We were able to observe the pupils' creative potential with these tools, which were developed over a school year.
Together, a variety of creative and technical activities in the fields of sound, music, visual creation and slam were exploited. These activities aimed to stimulate the teenagers' imagination, develop their artistic and technical skills, and encourage collaboration and self-expression through different artistic media.
The aim was to offer the pupils workshops in sound creation and expression (DJing, Sianr and VJing), punctuated by workshop sessions, meetings and discoveries at Les Halles de Schaerbeek, with a view to presenting their work at this cultural venue at the end of the school year during the Grand Marché.
The aim of the project was to encourage exchanges and encounters with groups and artists, to promote young people's self-expression and creativity, and to help them discover themselves.
